Bad customer service

My package arrived on Monday and today is Thursday until everyday they say clearance delay, and while its delayed you have to pay storage fees and you cant even complain, its as if they invent delays so you keep paying them, most expensive worst service ever i dont even know when i can receive it since its still under clearance.

User's recommendation: Use DHL or ups.

Complain

It would be unfair to portray FEDEX as the only incompetent parcel service company in the Philippines. DHL, PhilPost, FedEx ... actually every company is not worth the money that you pay for the service here. Inept management and unmotivated employees are the main problem. Perhaps one should hire capable managers from abroad. Just no idea, otherwise it won't work!

We lost almost 40k pesos worth of items in our package. It was cleared then it was not delivered on time even the status is cleared from customs. They delivered it 2 days after the cleared status of customs . When we received the box we found out we were missing more than 20 items. They also put cartons inside our box so that it looks full when we opened it. Dont ever trust fedex.

User's recommendation: Don’t EVER use FEDEX.

Fedex pretend to be customer friendlie, bud they are ruf and unpolite

befor i have shipped my item from Dumaguete to Poland i have inquired twice for the shipping price, the rate they gave me was 16.000 php, wich was ok.Bud wenn the item was delivered to the recipient , Fedex charge me 26.000 php.I have contacted them by a onlineform 4 times and they did not reply my messages, they ignore you. them.really unpolite..never again

Surprise "local charges"

Had a package ordered from Japan and shipped to the Philippines. The item only cost around 2500 PHP. I paid the shipping fee with the seller beforehand believing that it's all that I need to pay. And Surprise! When the item arrived, the delivery guy said we need to pay 576 PHP, said it was local charge. What the actual *** Shouldn't that be already covered? In the Philippines, only packages 10,000 PHP will be charged with custom tax. What the the *** is FedEx Philippines charging us for?

Terrible unethical service

FedEx Philippines - Terrible unethical service
Wednesday, October 28, 2020. FedEx charged me P576.80 for "customs duty and taxes" only to reveal later that it was a lie, the charge was for storage. I had to ask three times before they sent me their bill, I'm sure they didn't want to expose their lie. My complete phone number was on the documentation from the shipper in Taiwan, but FedEx miscopied it, I suspect intentionally so that they could charge storage fees. FedEx refuses to break down the charges to show the daily charge and the daily rate.

Stolen Laptop

shipped a brand new laptop to family in Dumaguete and the laptop was stolen out of the box. Also couldnt track the box online past Paranaque Philippines.

Don't use FEDEX! Scam!

Hi Good Day! This is from FedEx Manila. Please be advised that you have incoming shipment from HK with AWB#??????. Kindly prepare of Php 576.80 upon delivery of the package for local charges, Duties and Taxes. Thank you --- DHL and UPS stopped charging customers since last year. Ordered item is worth $40 and The Philippines only charge duties and taxes if 10,000php or more. Why is it that FEDEX is still charging customers with this fee.

USAbox in Miami is responsible. Though I hired them as a mail forwarder they list ME as the shipper when THEY fill out customs forms.

They incompletely filled out the customs form for Fedex, If they fill out incorrectly it is MY responsibility not theirs. USA box sucks

The location is NOT Fedex Bicol but Fedex Manila Airport. Communication with Fedex Clearance keeps requesting information which I provide BUT there is always something wrong.

Fedex Philippines keeps asking for more details about a $20 usd plastic piece and $6 usd worth of rubber washers. Each day I spend answering their inane questions again and again they charge for another day storage PLUS "warehouse handling fee". Fedex USA must need money bad to be complicit in this scam. They are also holding personal mail including my wife's passport until I answer their silly questions and pay all the fees. It is extortion

Thieves!

Never use fedex! They will hold your package for as long as they can and try to extort you money before they deliver your package! Based from my own experience, it was May 31 when my package arrived in Pasay. They requested proof of payment in which I was able to provide the same day. I had been following up with them eversince. They always say "it is the BOC examiner's discretion when to open/inspect the package". Lo and behold after 7 days they said the examiner did not accept my proof of payment and examiner did value upgrading (from $150 to $192 new Customs duty and tax base on upgraded value) and required me to pay for P4,962! How did they even come up with that amount?! But wait, there's more! Fedex asked me to pay for their warehouse + handling fees with an amount of P2,497!!! I had no other choice but to accept and pay when they delivered it on June 7 because my customers had been waiting for their items! Now... I have another package that they put on hold "for clearance" since June 8!!! I have been following up with them and they just called me now and asked me to submit a proof of payment again!!! Wow, they could have said this when it arrived on the 8th because the status has been that way since it's arrived! Now they expect me to pay for their warehouse fees. From where I see it, that is not "warehouse fee"; it's ransom money! FEDEX + BOC is the worst and most evil couple of trade industry!!!

Twice scammed by Fedex Phils.

This is the 2nd time i experienced by Fedex Philippines. The 1st one was a package i shipped using MyUS.com. I paid the fedex shipping fee in the US thinking that it will be delivered to me directly. But no, my package went to Fedex Pasay and when it arrived and finally delivered to me, i was charged with like P900 plus for storage and warehouse fee. I tolerated it since i really need the item that arrived. But the most unacceptable incident was when i purchased a small guitar parts that costed like $6 and the shipping charged was $12 to the Philippines. The seller sent the items via Fedex twice but unsuccessful. The third time the seller sent the item as replacement via fedex expedited shipping. The item arrived in Manila last Saturday May 25th, 2019. I noticed on the tracking that the item is hold for custom clearance. And so they delivered it today May 28th and to may suprised they charged me P800plus for warehouse, storage, even entry form,VAT sales. The delivery guy kept saying sorry which i said i wont take his sorry because for sure they have been doing this for so long. I refused the item and told their fedex delivery guy he can go ahead take it back to their office.

Avoid Philippines FedEx at all cost

1. FedEx is the only shipping company that charges warehouse fees. After 12 years of many shipments from USA FedEx always charges extra fees. 2. In the Philippines their are alleged dishonest employees. Claiming customs needs additional time to verify package invoices. 3. This happens 2 different time within 1 month to me. The second time FedEx kept my package for 2 weeks then tried to collect 6,000p . The total cost of the package was 4000p. FedEx refused to negotiate the fees to 2000p. I refused to pay and never received the package. Xxxxxxxxxxxxx Iived in Thailand for 9 yrs receiving many shipments never had this problem.
